El Encuentro Surf Lodge - Cabarete

The lodge's proximity to the beach was fantastic, allowing me easy access to the surf anytime. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I found the facilities to be great, especially the yoga sessions that helped me unwind after a day of surfing. The room was clean and cozy.

The WiFi connection wasn't very strong at times, hard to stream shows.

The location offered was perfect and stunning so close to the grounds of the lodge, and Playa Encuentro. It also was right next to the beach. My studio suite was beautifully maintained and brand-new.

Absolutely perfect and best possible location just minutes away from the beach. Appreciated very comfortable area. Pleasant restaurant with delicious cuisine, top-class staff...

The grounds were fine with lush greenery surrounding the beautiful and clean pool, perfect for a relaxing evening swim. Breakfast was good, with fresh options, made starting the day enjoyable, and the vibe was chill. Just a short five-minute walk to the beach offered easy access for surfing and enjoying the ocean waves!

It would be helpful to add shower gel to the amenities!!! The WiFi connection could definitely use improvement to avoid frustrating outages!!! Noise at night might disrupt others hoping for a peaceful sleep!!!

I stayed in a Double Room for 3 nights, and it was simple but surprisingly cozy. Super clean, which I really appreciated. The minimum necessities were there, and the vibe of the place just felt right. It's a chill spot to relax after a day on the beach. The only thing is, I wished the meals didn't take so long to arrive, but they were definitely worth the wait!

Such a serene place with delicious, fresh food! The garden ambiance was lovely. it got a bit noisy at night, which would be my only downside.

This place has fine wild nature and clean beaches, perfect for surfers. We loved the cozy treehouse with its killer view of the beach.

Staying here with my whole family was fantastic. The beach bungalow offered us privacy while allowing easy access to the gorgeous beach. The staff were really good, remembering my one-year-old's name and sharing joyful moments with him. We also enjoyed a peaceful sunset yoga session at the palapa.

My wife says that adding a shower gel would help families.

The delicious meals and lush gardens exceeded my expectations during this romantic trip. It was the perfect escape, a slice of paradise.

Wifi was spotty .

I booked a double room with a fridge, climate control, and an individual safe. It was incredibly comfortable and easy to move around, with an outdoor bathroom. the staff were top-class and very helpful. the lodge has a central location, just a short walk to the beach.

We had the best time here! The staff treated us like family, so warm and cute. The super clean rooms and great surf vibes made relaxing easy. Loved the in-room breakfast, especially the fresh fruit! Just wish the WiFi was a little stronger sometimes.
